Longmont Loves Google

On Friday, June 18 the community of Longmont came together to write a message in the parking lot of Silver Creek High School. Thanks to the effort and energy of Vince Jordan, Payton Peterson and Tom Sheffield (pictured below with Mayor Bryan Baum) to make it happen in less than a week. It was a blast, there was so much excitement from everyone there! My blue car is part of the small g in Google and my friend and fellow photographer, Debbie Cruikshank of Colorado Aerial Photography, took a photo before the DigiGlobe satellite snapped one from over 400 miles high at 12:27 PM. www.coloradoaerial.com/ I, along with most everyone in town, hope that Google makes the best choice and picks Longmont as the community for the Google project!
