The July ArtWalk brought many people, young and old, into Still Frame Gallery to view the exhibits. This morning I woke up to a photo and write-up about the Teen Photo Project! www.TimesCall.com/news_story.asp
Also a viewer wrote in the gallery guest book with regard to the "Musings on Water" images on metal: These prints are the "best of the city" by far, in a class by themselves. -Pat Coffy. How awesome is that! I love being a photographer and this year I will be celebrating my 35th year as a professional!
The Longmont Criterium in downtown Longmont was so much fun to watch and photograph! I played with my Canon 5D for the first time on rapid fire as the cyclists sped past. They were amazing, especially the pros! I had way too many images but I whittled it down to my favorites and then played in Photoshop with the fresco filter and the Kubota kevX process in the last image since I didn't like the way it looked in fresco.

On Friday, June 18 the community of Longmont came together to write a message in the parking lot of Silver Creek High School. Thanks to the effort and energy of Vince Jordan, Payton Peterson and Tom Sheffield (pictured below with Mayor Bryan Baum) to make it happen in less than a week. It was a blast, there was so much excitement from everyone there! My blue car is part of the small g in Google and my friend and fellow photographer, Debbie Cruikshank of Colorado Aerial Photography, took a photo before the DigiGlobe satellite snapped one from over 400 miles high at 12:27 PM. www.coloradoaerial.com/ I, along with most everyone in town, hope that Google makes the best choice and picks Longmont as the community for the Google project!
